Ramzi Boukhiam wins the first stop of the two qualifying stops in France of the King of the Groms 2009!!! Ian Fontaine originally from Brittany is in the second place. The two young riders can go to the King of the Groms European final , which will take place at the Basque spot, Zarautz 7th and 8th August 2009.
Ramzi Boukhiam ( 15 years old) is the best rider of Morocco .This week end in Brittany, the three times champion of Marocco dominated the competition.During the final against Ian Fontaine, the Quiksilver team rider shows a technical and fast surfing. Pierre Rollet from Anglet and Gaspard Larsonneur from Brittany were respectively in the third and fourth places.
Ramzi and Ian are qualified for the European final. The other riders will have a second chance to qualify during the next French stop at Capbreton on July,the 18th. The 8 best riders of the second stop can also go to the European final as Ramzi and Ian.
