Snowboarder, artist and producer/DJ, Scott Nixon is a man of many talents. He's been mixing since before he first stood on a snowboard over 20 years ago. Being a pro-rider on the European snowboard scene for over 15 years opened up a huge freesport audience to his mixing talents and he's been a regular at massive surf & snowboard events for years, including the recent Freeze Festival takeover of Battersea Power Station. His tunes have topped the Beatport genre charts and been to the top ecehlons of the DMC Buzz Charts and Scott has now established himself as the UK's only pro-DJ/music producer and professional snowboarder.
From his debut at London's superclub - Fabric back in November 05, he's now a regular on the scene playing at clubs nationwide, including Heaven, Ministry of Sound and a host of international festivals. He's mixed CD's for respected Knowledge Magazine and FLR's Freshtraxxx Volume 2, also recently doing a mix for Nissan's Snow Tour. All this has led Scott to various interviews & airplay on the likes of BBC Radio and Kiss FM, from DJs including Annie Nightingale.
Following this support for Scott's previous work and with both these tracks being selected by Dubstep legend MRK1 for his new compilation mean that Scott's future in Dubstep looks blindingly bright. Expect more heavyweight dubsteppers to be coming from Scott Nixon over the forthcoming year.
